Hi everyone, I'm new here. I'm an anthropology student who is gearing up to do her undergraduate thesis. My research topic is prenatal healthcare and birth, and I'll be studying this in a rural Mennonite community. The problem is I don't really know anything about the Mennonite religion, beliefs, traditions, etc. I know that there are Mennonites who are more conservative than others, but I'm not sure what the people I will be working with are like.
So I'm hoping that someone here will have a recommendation of any fair and balanced sources on the religion so I can read up and build my bibliography. Academic books and articles would be preferred, but websites and popular press books would also be very helpful!
